Now, I am not going to bore you with the nitty-gritty details of each song or the production quality of this record. Truth be told, that’s not what matters here. What’s important is the pure, unadulterated joy these tracks drip with.
Words can’t express the sheer exhilaration this album has sparked in our tight-knit community of Garage Punk lovers. Not because we’re hearing anything groundbreaking or unplayed before, but because we’re witnessing the essence of garage punk being played by the very people who should be playing it–teenagers.
And let me tell you, these young upstarts have done their homework. Their songwriting is a direct nod to the 60’s era and the production quality of the record is so authentic that if you didn’t know better, you’d swear you were jamming to a long-lost band from the sixties.
Without inflating their egos too much (they’re already pretty high flying), they don’t need to feel envious of any seasoned garage band out there. They hold their own and then some.
